“Simply enough this is beautiful folk music with hints of Fairport Convention and immediately it sounds like timeless stuff. The opening track reminds me a bit of Long Fin Killie and there's a healthy medieval feel to the proceedings. Really excellent stuff!!”
“A beautifully presented limited edition CD from the marvellous Static
Caravan label. If you're a fan of Joanna Newsom (vocally) or Tunng (musically). Deep, folky sounds with lively percussion and guitar playing combined with quirky vocal elements and
a footstomping tempo. Once they're gone, they're gone!”
“Believe me this is golden. I don’t know if I feel this way because I used to be a fool for Irish folk music back in the day, but it took me only 3 seconds to go mad after listening to their opener of the same name. “
And remember 'Stewardesses' is the longest word that is typed with only the left hand on the QWERTY keyboard.
