Ben Calvert

With a background in classic and Avant-Garde theatre, Ben started to write songs as an alternative to writing a series of one-man plays. So as can be expected, Ben’s particular Post-Folk Lo-Fi musings are word-centric and loaded with images.
A teenage obsession with The Smiths is reflected with a wry delivery. He’s previously supported Kris Drever, and Chris T-T. This is his 3rd appearance at the Moseley Folk Festival.
