The Toy Hearts

a five-piece family,Traditional and Contemporary Bluegrass Band from Birmingham, England

Formed in 2001, Toy Hearts have created and honed their own distinctive bluegrass sound; close vocal harmonies and virtuoso instrumental drive.
Their original material draws on influences from Western Swing, Jazz and Country. They have built up an enviable reputation and loyal following by consistently delivering exciting and energetic performances of their own brand of Bluegrass.

The Toy Hearts have now finished writing and recording their debut album: “If the Blues Should Come Calling”, which is currently available to buy their website ,.
After appearing at the Shetland Folk Festival, Wolvestock Country Festival, Americana International, Dunnmore East International Bluegrass Festival, 16th Annual Appalachian & Bluegrass Music Festival, The Cornish Bluegrass Association Festival and supporting Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder all in 2007 .The Toy Hearts are currently writing their second album, which will hopefully be recorded in 2008.
